Multidisciplinary Creative Practice

himHallows is the working name of me, Paul Hallows, an artist and multi-disciplinary creative practitioner based at the Engine House in Salford's Islington Mill. My creative practice involves hand drawn illustration, design, prototyping, animation, small scale builds and University education (currently a guest lecturer on levels 4 & 5 Graphic Design at the University of Salford) 

I have a passion for risograph printing and I’m always happy to bring it into projects, making use of the Engine House’s studio machine and its broad range of colours.

My art practice is focused on creating illustrated patterns built by repeating and joining together risograph printed tiles. The patterns centre around the repetitions that occur within various real world settings but mostly around infrastructural systems.
